Facebook will not cut the income of creators till 2023
Apparently, Facebook is not sharing the income earned by the creators through online events or fan subscriptions. Creators will get the full amount of their income till 2023. Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive officer of the top social media, made the announcement in a post on Facebook. News Engadget.
Until then, Zuckerberg said, the policy covers revenue from paid online events, fan subscriptions, badges and the upcoming newsletter feature. However, when Facebook deducts the fee from that income, it will be less than the 30 percent charge of Apple or other companies.
The head of Facebook also said that Facebook is creating a new payout interface for the creators. There will be a difference in the impact of fees and taxes on other companies in their income. Initially the interface will be seen on the web and in the case of paid online events.
Facebook's announcement suggests that the top social media is going to compete with Twitch, Twitter and Substock in the future.
